Fostering Creativity: Unveiling the State of Research in Education

On 21-April, we observe World Creativity and Innovation Day with the goal to inspire creativity and encourage innovation, reinforcing our belief in the power of creativity as the driver of positive change.

To celebrate World Creativity & Innovation Day, the BIC Corporate Foundation and the International Society for the Study of Creativity and Innovation (ISSCI) presents a new report, highlighting researchers from around the globe whose studies focus on creativity in education.

By consolidating the findings of 72 contributors and 44 researchers across 22 countries, this report will help practitioners embed creativity into education systems, policies, and practices across the globe, amplifying our organizational commitment to improving learning conditions for 250 million children worldwide by 2025.

“The intersection of creativity and education is a topic close to my heart. Throughout my career, I have seen how innovative approaches to education can ignite a passion for learning and empower students to reach their full potential. Because of this, I am passionate about this work,” shares Alison James, Executive Director, BIC Corporate Foundation.
